December 12, 2025 Changes Happenin’ at Surya Studio: Surya studio is my home studio. Its rope wall is expanded and we are finishing a new wonderful laminate floor. June 16 2023: Report on Rope Wall Level 1 Training: We had a wondeful set of students this year. They had a joyous time spending time in poses ranging from Trikonasana to Sirsasana. I appreciated the questions they asked, they smiles on their faces and willinginess to work through 15 hours of fun on the ropes. Congratulations to the class of June 2023!

May 21, 2023 : Report on the Iyengar Convention. This was an unforgettable even. Sitting at the feet of Abhijata Iyengar and soaking in her teachings for 5-6 hours a day was a fabulous experience. Come join us in three years for the next convention!
May 15-20, 2023 : Iyengar Convention, San Diego – off to San Diego for the convention. Excited to see Abhijata in person! I will to bring back all sorts of great ideas and I will be honing my skills.

Training Covid Safeguards: Your instrucors ask that participants be vaccinated or wear a mask. The Center for Yoga has excellent specialized filtration, the room will be ventilated frequently during the day and our cleaning standards are high (e.g. ozonated water, exposure of props to UV lights)
